Marlin "Butch" Kirby

Marlin "Butch" Kirby 67, of High Springs passed away Thursday, March 29th at North Florida Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was retired from the U.S. Navy after 26 years service and attended the First Baptist Church of High Springs.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years Tokiko Kirby, High Springs, a son; Marlin (Robin) Kirby Jr. York, Pa., a daughter; Jo (Bill) Hartman; High Springs, four brothers; Wayne (Phyllis) Kirby, San Deiago, Calif., Bill (Debbie) Kirby, Vaughn Kirby, Jack (Sandy) Kirby all of Bloomington, Indiana; four sisters; Connie Lewis, Conway, S.C., Katie Sumner, Dawn (Phillip) Wright both of Bloomington, Indiana, Lynn (Donald) Veasey, Aynor, S.C. four grandchildren; Justin, Taylor, Ethan & Marley.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday at First Baptist Church of High Springs with Rev. Billy Stephens officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Graveside services with military honors will be in the High Springs Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Evans - Carter Funeral Home High Springs.
