My Dear Niece,
I received your kind letter I was proud to hear from you that you were all well. I have made up my mind to send you the articuals I spoke of to you, as they will not register them I will risk them without, hoping providence will guide them safe to you. The spoons for yourself, the little box for Caroline & the broach for Ida. I should have liked to have had something to send to Minnie but I have no other thing worth sending. I will pay them & send them with the letter. Let me know if you get them all safe & if you had to pay anything for them. I had a letter from your Brother in February. He sent me the 25 pounds your Father left. I got it all right & was very proud of it. I wrote & thanked him for his kindness. I hope he got my letter. I have not heard from him since. I was proud to hear your Mother was better when you wrote & that she had a niece staying with her. She will be company to her. Remember me kindly to her & all your Brothers & Sisters when you see them. With kind wishes for yourself & Husband with love to your little ones, I remain
Your affectionate Aunt,
Agnes Gibson
