Our Sheriff has fled from the County and State
Himself and his captive in chains;
Proceedings defacto no doubt are commenced
That will join them more tight for their pains.

The "process continued," comes forward at last,
And the Sheriff impatiently burns,
While the Jury retire with a view to decide
On the nature of all such returns.
