Viola E. Kirby, 90, Bloomington, died Dec. 19, 2007, at Richland-Bean Blossom Healthcare. She was born Sept. 26, 1917, in Gretna, Kansas, to the late Walter and Anna (Hoppe) Addie. The homemaker is survived by her children: Wayne Kirby, San Diego; Connie Lewis, Boston; Marlin Roy Kirby, Eligh Springs, Fla., William L. Kirby and James Von Kirby of Bloomington, Carolyn Sumner of Bloomington; Dawn Ellen Wright, Mooresville, Lynn Veasey, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Jack Boyd Kirby, Bloomington; one brother, Andy Addie of Spencer; 25 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Her husband, William Edward Kirby; daughter, Bonnie Jo Kirby; grandson, Brian Kirby; two brothers, Dee and Lee Addie, preceded her in death. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 Gourley Pike, Bloomington. Calling will be one hour before service time today. The Rev.
